  The conference is divided into two parts: keynote speech and humanistic English teaching exhibition。In his keynote speech on the morning of the 28th, Professor Luo Lianggong, dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Central China Normal University, took Humanistic English series textbooks "Humanistic English" as an example to explain how the humanistic knowledge system and related teaching concepts can be realized in specific English textbooks。Professor Wang Zhuo, dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Shandong Normal University, with the theme of "Construction of Foreign Literature curriculum System for College English majors from the perspective of new liberal arts", combined with the reform measures of the literature curriculum system for English majors of Shandong Normal University, clarified the humanistic orientation of English majors。Professor Zhu Xiaolin, deputy dean of the School of Foreign Languages of our University, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Reform of the Training mode for English Majors based on conformal Curriculum Construction", and expounded the necessity and urgency of the reform of the training mode for English majors based on the characteristics of ethnic colleges and universities。The deans of other colleges and universities discussed the ideas and attempts of English teaching reform from different perspectives。The delegates at the meeting all expected that this series of humanistic English textbooks co-written by the teachers of the School of Foreign Languages of our university could promote the teaching reform of English majors in the new era。

  In the afternoon, teachers from the College of Foreign Languages of Central China Normal University and Shandong Normal University gave a teaching demonstration of humanistic English teaching in the wisdom classroom of the outer campus of Shan Normal University。Professor Fang Xingfu of China Normal School of Foreign Studies took "Comprehensive English" teaching for English majors as an example to demonstrate the student-centered and output-oriented "Comprehensive English" teaching model。Professor Fang's teaching team of five teachers, combined with their own teaching practice, elaborated on the work that students need to complete in group cooperative learning and the role of teachers in the teaching process。Two teachers from the teaching team of Shanyu Foreign Institute took specific texts as examples to give lectures and practical classroom demonstrations。The reform of the teaching mode based on the series of humanistic teaching materials of the two teaching teams also brings a lot of inspiration and provides some ideas for the construction of "first-class curriculum" at the basic English level of our college。
